After the "Hurricane Sandy: Coming Together" benefit on Friday, Springsteen — who is stumping for Obama and has previously spurned the affections of his home state's Republican governor — shook Christie's hand and even gave him a squeeze. "We hugged and he told me, 'it's official, we're friends,'" Christie (who has been to, like, 130 Boss concerts) later said, admitting he was so touched by the moment, he went home and cried.
