Bruce Springsteen's 'Born to Run' house is for sale
2/22/2013It may not have a screen door that slams while the radio plays, but the house where Bruce Springsteen lived when he wrote songs for his career-sparking "Born to Run" album is for sale. The 1920’s shotgun shack is in Long Branch, N.J., the town that apparently "rips the bones from your back." The Boss’s former two-bedroom, one-bath 828 square-foot crib is a far cry from a mansion on the hill, but for $349,000 it seems a bargain for any true Bruce worshiper. Then again, maybe Springsteen should pony up for the place, hunker down in that back bedroom with an acoustic guitar and hope the walls still hold some magic. [Source]
