Your beautiful Christmas tree is a haven for creepy, crawly insects

Christmas is all about celebrating with your family members by your side. But make sure to leave room for all the spiders, moths and bark lice that got a free ticket into your home when you carried that Christmas tree across the threshold.  Bjarte Jordal at Norway's University Museum of Bergen, who's on a mission to singlehandedly make you feel like there are bugs crawling over your skin this Christmas, says that upward of 25,000 bugs have been found in some trees. He goes on to say that the insects don't pose any risk to humans and that many die off quickly due to a lack of food.
