Japanese Burger King bets on black with terrifying-looking new burger

Burger King's menu has literally gone to the dark side thanks to its new, disgusting-sounding Black Burger. The franchise's Japanese locations will start selling the "Kuro" (Japanese for "black") Burger on Friday, so if you're into buns that have been dyed by mixing bamboo charcoal into the dough, now's probably a great time to get in line for the $10 treat. The Kuro will also be garnished with dark ketchup that coordinates with the bun, after being enhanced with a liberal squirt of squid ink and ... you know what? A plain cheeseburger from McDonald's doesn't sound so bad after all. [Source]
