After weeks of denials, Burger King has now admitted that new tests revealed four samples showed the presence of "trace levels of equine DNA" in its patties. As a result of the findings, Burger King said in a statement it has since parted ways with Silvercrest, its meat supplier, over the failure to provide "100 percent British and Irish beef patties."
