Burglars applaud move to publish gun owners' addresses
1/5/2013At least one group's happy about the Journal News's decision to publish the home addresses of gun owners: burglars. A couple weeks ago, the Journal News in upstate New York published the home addresses of gun owners in its readership area — a story that, predictably, met with outrage. Some reformed burglars have stepped forward to say the paper has made criminals' jobs much easier: "That was the most asinine article I’ve ever seen," said one. Burglars were divided between saying they could target guns they want to steal — or pick undefended homes to rob. [Source]
