Bus driver's awesome move corners hit-and-run driver

4/8/2012

When a Bethlehem, Penn., bus driver saw a car behind him hit a bicyclist, he wasn't going to let the assailant speed away. In a genius move caught on tape, Richard Gubish, Jr. pulled his bus across both lanes of traffic, blocking the car from leaving while they waited for police to arrive. He had help from Jud Small, who pulled his own car behind the baddie, boxing him in. "Bus driver: YOU SHALL NOT PASS!," bellowed one commenter. The suspect was arrested as a juvenile delinquent. The bicyclist, Frank Pavlick, was uninjured, and Gubish and Small were honored by the city.
