The two have been inseparable since Bob turned up on Bowen's stairwell. The musician was trying to kick a drug addiction and the stubborn kitty wouldn't go away.

When the ballsy cat followed him onto a public bus, Bowen quit trying to make him leave and accepted they were going to be friends.

Now Bob goes just about everywhere with Bowen.

Bowen is reportedly in talks with a Hollywood producer to bring the popular memoir to the big screen.

Sometimes saviors are angels with halos. Other times, they're fat orange tabbies that won't leave you alone. Such was the case for James Bowen, an ex-heroin addict saved by a stray cat named Bob. Bowen, struggling to kick his drug habit, found Bob wounded on the stairwell of his U.K. apartment. After giving the cat basic aid, Bowen tried to set him free, but the stubborn kitty wouldn't go. Bob followed Bowen up the road and, brazenly, onto bus. The rest is history. The two began busking together for tips, inspiring a bestselling book "A Street Cat Named Bob."
