We all know how many calories are in a gooey slice of fudge-dribbled cake compared to, say, a pile of carrots or something. But the more subtle caloric differences are sometimes tough to judge. How many calories, for example, are in something seemingly healthy like nuts, when you line it up next to fruits or vegetables? Or what happens to your serving size when you start throwing in pastries and fast food?
