9/9/2012And this is why they call it a "Hail Mary." Cameron Morgan doesn't seem to have a prayer of pulling in this end-of-the-half heave to the end zone by Southern Utah quarterback Brad Sorensen. But Cal's Marc Anthony tips the ball instead of batting it down and Morgan completes the miracle with some Cirque de Soleil-style acrobatics. Actually, this was a Hail-Hail Mary: the Thunderbirds got a second shot at the end zone after a pass interference call on the Bears. But there's a price for miracles, too. Anthony made it a game-turning interception for a touchdown and Cal blitzed the T-Birds in the second half to win, 50-31.
