Candy Crowley excites GOP with 'President Romney' tongue slip

Remember how the GOP was ticked at Candy Crowley after she defended President Obama from an attack by Mitt Romney (never mind that she gave Romney credit for a larger point) during the highly combative second presidential debate? Well, they’re probably much happier with her now that she inadvertently tipped the election in Romney’s favor. On CNN’s "State of the Union" on Sunday, Crowley accidentally referred to the GOP candidate as "President Romney." She immediately corrected herself, but the misfire earned instant kudos from the man she was interviewing, Sen. Rob Portman, an Ohio Republican.
