Cannibals allegedly used flesh in pastries sold to neighbors

4/15/2012

Stuffed pastries made from the flesh of humans -- talk about a culinary throw-down. This tough-to-swallow tale involves three sickos who were jailed last week for allegedly killing at least two women. Police, who seized evidence including the drawing pictured above, say the trio ate parts of the bodies and used their cooked flesh to make empanadas that they sold to neighbors in their northeastern Brazilian city. The suspects, who include a man, his wife and his mistress, are said to belong to a sect that advocates reducing the world's population in order to purify the planet, which presumably could mean eating people. Police said the man had written a 50-page book, in which he claims to hear voices and is obsessed with killing women.
