Car world revved up for Mazda-Alfa Romeo roadster
5/24/2012Car geeks are having a bit of an early Christmas with the announcement that Mazda and Fiat will collaborate on a new drop-top roadster model set for production in 2015. The model would be a best-of-both worlds proposition, with the next generation of the world's best selling roadster, the Mazda MX-5 Miata, underpinning a body created by Fiat-owned Alfa Romeo, the Italian company known for creating some of the world's most beautiful cars. Better yet, the open-air sports car is expected to herald Alfa Romeo's return to the U.S. after departing in the mid-1990s.
Which sportscar DNA do you like better -- Japanese or Italian?
