Carjacker stalled by manual transmission vehicle
6/21/2012Nothing screws up a carjacking like not being able to drive stick. A St. Louis man found himself in an awkward situation when a man who carjacked him couldn't figure out how to drive his manual-transmission car. Police say the robber approached the man as he was sitting in his car, flashed a gun and demanded money. After getting a cool $24, he made the man move to the passenger side and attempted to drive off, but the delicate dance of stick and clutch eluded him. Ultimately, the victim offered his attacker a ride. After accepting and being dropped at his location, the perp thanked the man and went on his way. Fortunately, the victim wasn't hurt, and cops are searching for his inept thief.
Would you have given this crook a ride?
