Billionaires' verbal slap-fest is CNBC's only exciting telecast ever

1/27/2013

Quick, name the reality show this quote was culled from: "I went to a tough school in Queens and used to beat up the little Jewish boys." Never mind — you'll be wrong. This was billionaire Carl Icahn calling into CNBC's "Halftime Report" to deliver a verbal beatdown to fellow filthy-rich investor Bill Ackman, slammed by Icahn as "the crybaby in the schoolyard." The on-air rumble was the buzz of Wall Street, and traders could be heard roaring in the background on the video whenever a pariticularly vicious shot was fired. Ackman won $9 million lawsuit from Icahn over a 2003 dispute and noted, "He's not used to having someone stand up to him." When these guys go at it, they take off the Gucci gloves. [Source]
