Olympics have kept soccer star Carli Lloyd too busy to follow baseball

Cut Carli Lloyd some slack: being the goal-scoring heroine for the gold-medal winning U.S. soccer team hasn't allowed her to keep up on the sports-page transactions. So when baseball star Shane Victorino tweeted his congratulations, Jersey girl Lloyd fired back a "Go Phils!" attaboy, not realizing that the outfielder had been traded to the Dodgers in a salary dump. Twitter didn't let her stay clueless long, so Lloyd was quick with a not-quite-retraction: "@ShaneVictorino sorry still a phillies fan! wishing you all the best though!" Maybe if Lloyd had been hanging out with fellow gold medalist and Dodger wife Misty May-Treanor, she'd be current on all the baseball deals.
