Carnival cruise line’s ship the Carnival Fascination just failed a Centers for Disease Control and Prevention inspection, a twice-a-year surprise check-in that cruise ships must get an 86 out of 100 points to pass. Carnival Fascination got an 84. (And before you ask: No this is not the same ship that was disabled at sea with all the toilets not working and the food going warm after an engine-room fire. That was the ironically named Carnival Triumph.) Inspectors revealed there was a fly near the hamburger grill, not enough chlorine in the water park, and a “roach nymph” around a deck drain. So yes, another association for Carnival with their ships and failure. On the other hand, that roach nymph really carved out a sweet little life for himself. [Source]
