Cat is running for Senate in Virginia

Voters say they've been looking for a different sort of candidate this election year -- and no one fits that particular bill better than a cat from Virginia named Hank, who's trying to run for U.S. Senate versus former governors George Allen and Tim Kaine. Those human candidates might lead, but Hank does claim "a Web site, a Facebook page, a Twitter handle, and campaign advertisement," according to this Washington Post write-up. He also has a handsome campaign photo, in which he sits in a gilded chair, wearing a tie. As a fan tweeted to Hank: The time for action is meow?
