Persistent cat knocks for entry in the most annoying possible way

This is surely one of the most annoying cats in the world. Clever, yes. Dexterous, most definitely. But oh so irritating. The fearsome feline has worked out how to (quite loudly) knock on a door using its hind leg — which he does over and over again. How does anyone in this house get any sleep with that insistent cat around?
