Video captures cute but determined caterpillars in a huge caravan

That's not a conga line at a bug wedding. It’s an enormous procession of bag-shelter moth caterpillars, searching for some soft ground to call home and build cocoons to survive winter. You can’t see it, but the lead caterpillar is spinning a thin silk thread behind him, and all his pals are feeling their way along it to keep perfect formation. When the lead dude finds a good spot to chill, they will all form cocoons and emerge as moths next spring.
