Cat's Senate campaign smeared by pro-dog attack ad
3/3/2012A group called the Canines for a Feline-Free Tomorrow Super PAC has launched an attack ad against Hank, the cat running for a Virginia Senate seat. The video, titled "Hank for Senate? No Way," levels some serious charges at the cat, calling into question his use of cat nip, his military history ("He says he's been to the vet, but there's no record of him serving in any military branch"), and questions if Hank would require female cats to undergo an ultrasound before being spayed. Hank's campaign manager, Matthew O'Leary, told thejanedough.com that Hank refuses to respond to "baseless attack ads."
