As of 12:01 Thursday morning, recreational pot is legal in Washington state, a paradigm shift that's not gone unnoticed by thousands of newly law-abiding tokers enjoying their favorite habit in the comfort of their own homes. Presumably they have a few bags of Funyuns nearby, too. To mark the occasion, we thought we'd salute our partners in herb-appreciation: cats everywhere, who for years have been getting high on catnip with nary an ill effect, except for some glassy-eyed attacks on the upholstery.
