Caviar vending machine will fulfill all your fishy snack desires
11/26/2012"I feel like a quick snack — can you give me a second while I grab some caviar from the vending machine?" That's a real sentence a human being could plausibly say, thanks to the caviar vending machine recently installed at the Burbank Town Center in California. The touch-screen machine also dispenses treats including truffles, escargot and bottarga (for the less refined, that's mushrooms, snails and Mediterranean fish eggs), with prices ranging from $50 to $500. The caviar vending machine is not for everyone, though. "Yeah, I can think of probably better things I can buy out of a vending machine than fish eggs," remarked one passerby. Right on. [Source]
