A promoter wants to get some Green from CeeLo in court
2/9/2013"The Voice" judge and recording artist CeeLo Green may have to spend some time in front of an actual judge. A lawsuit filed by a concert promoter accuses Green of conspiring to cheat Cierra Management Group out of $243,000 before pulling out of two Christmas concerts. Apparently, CeeLo's team pitched a "12 Days of Christmas" concert tour, but the promoter could not afford Green's fee. Instead, the two parties compromised on two shows, neither of which Green actually performed. CeeLo's camp has not officially responded yet, but with Green currently taking a break from this season of "The Voice," he should have enough time to read through the court documents. [Source]
