Celebrate swimsuit season with all-bacon 'Merica burger

Have you recovered yet from that annual food-and-drink-induced catatonic state that accompanies every Fourth of July celebration? Good, then you've awakened just in time to begin salivating over the 'Merica burger, an artery-busting creation with a patty made out of 100 percent ground bacon, another slice of bacon topping that, a sunny-side-up egg, something called "bacon island" dressing and, naturally, bacon cheddar cheese. Find it at the Southern California chain Slater's 50/50. While it may pale in comparison to the Boss Bacon Burger's 500 strips of pork goodness, it's safe to say the 'Merica will satisfy most bacon cravings during its limited July run. And be sure to finish this bad boy off with a refreshing bacon sundae, because not doing so would just be plain un-'Merican.
