Yale researchers warn about effects of cellphones on unborn children
11/12/2012Avoid any close-up baby bump phone pics, pregnant ladies. Yale researchers say that cellphone radiation affects fetal brain development and may cause hyperactivity in kids, after they studied the effects of a cellphone placed on a cage of pregnant mice. The young mice that were exposed to cellphone radiation in utero had decreased memory, and "were basically bouncing off the walls and didn't have a care in the world," said Dr. Hugh Taylor, co-author of the study. The professor advised pregnant women to hold cellphones away from their bodies. Apparently cellphone manufacturers already recommend everyone should do so in device manuals, but hey, who reads those anymore. [Source]
