CEO in hot seat after Yahoo fails to Bing his bio

​If Yahoo had done a few Bing (um, Yahoo!) searches before hiring CEO Scott Thompson, it might have avoided a whole lot of embarrassment. The Yahoo! bigwig has been outed as an accounting major only, NOT a computer science major as he apparently stated on his resume. (Not that anyone needs a tech degree these days -- or any degree at all, considering Mark Zuckerberg's success.) Yahoo!'s calling it an "inadvertent error," but sleuthing Third Point hedge fund exec Dan Loeb, a major disgruntled Yahoo! investor, is using the error to battle the Internet giant's board - and some are saying this bumble should cost Thompson his job.
