Aussie dad lets his 3-year-old son wrestle alligators
1/23/2013As a rule, three-year-olds probably shouldn't wrestle alligators. But little Charlie Parker says you can take your rules and shove them down a gator’s throat. Charlie is the latest in the long line of animal caretakers at the Ballarat Wildlife Park in Australia, and as these pictures show, he’s so comfortable around sanctuary animals, he can roughhouse with a young alligator the way most kids would with a puppy. "He can be an ambassador for conservation ... and I think it’s great," says father and park owner Greg Parker. Give yourself two thumbs up for courage, kid. But sorry, Dad, you get no props from us.
