Now this would have made a great episode of "Tool Time." Russian millionaire Dmitry Stroskin was eager to renovate the Chateau de Bellevue, a grand and beloved landmark in the French town of Yvrac dating from the 18th century, so he hired a crew to raze an outhouse on the grounds to get the ball rolling. But something got lost in translation, and when Stroskin returned home, the Polish crew he hired had bulldozed the castle instead — and left the crapper standing. A rebuild has been promised, but the lesson is clear: It's not always a good idea to accept the lowest bid. [Source]
