Cheating men more likely to die while having sex
5/24/2012A study out of the University of Florence suggests that "sudden coital death" is more likely to occur when men are having extramarital sex in strange places than when engaged in repetitive, familiar sex with their spouses. And it's not because their wives kill them. The authors of the paper aren't sure why the phenomenon exists. It could be the men are more likely to be full of alcohol and rich food at the time of coitus than they would be during another dismal evening at home with the old ball-and-chain. It's also been suggested that guilt and the stress of keeping the affair a secret might play a part. Either way—it may be time for cheaters to sheath their swords if they hope to fight another day.
