Chihuahua who thinks it's a Bloodhound tracks down missing girls
8/3/2012Proving that its breed can be more than just handbag accessories, a 3-year-old Chihuahua was responsible for finding two girls who went missing in a forest in Newnan, Ga. Carlie and Lacey, 5 and 8, had been walking on trails near their neighborhood when they became lost. Police and firefighters were looking for the pair when their neighbor, Carvin Young, joined in the search with his pet Chihuahua, Bell. Bell picked up the girls’ scent and ran until it located them, says Young. The girls play with Bell every day, so it was obviously no sweat for this pint-sized hero to find its pals. [Source]
