36 Chihuahuas rescued from real-life Cruella de Vils
3/9/2013It’s not quite "101 Dalmatians," but it’s close. A California animal shelter has rescued 36 Chihuahuas from a couple of Cruella de Vils in the area, and it's searching for loving homes for the poor guys. Santa Cruz County Shelter staff removed eleven dogs (including six puppies) from one apartment in Watsonville, then found 25 more (ten of them pups) at a relative’s home in the same town. Officials say the dogs were being hoarded in the homes and allowed to breed indiscriminately, leaving authorities considering animal neglect charges. So, come on : Who wants to adopt 36 Chihuahuas? We’re pretty sure it won’t change your life that much. [Source]
