Chimps are neurotic extroverts just like us
5/24/2012Me Cheetah, you Jane. U.K. researchers recently set out to determine whether chimps really do have personalities like people, and sure enough, they do. Chimpanzees "have the same social problems that we do: They want to make friends and find mates and sort of gain position within their society," researcher Mark Adams told the BBC. Researchers say human and chimp personalities have five dimensions -- neuroticism, extroversion, openness to experience, agreeableness and conscientiousness -- probably because we share a common ancestor. And it isn't your hairy Uncle Floyd.
How are you most like a chimp?
