'Stink assessor' job will make you feel better about your own career

And you thought your job was crappy. China is hiring "stink assessors" to grade its notoriously disgusting public bathrooms. Applicants must be under 30 and free of nasal diseases, and they are also advised to avoid pungent food, drinks and tobacco during work hours. (That last part shouldn't be too hard.) Bathrooms will be graded on their stench level, as well as the number of flies buzzing around. National law permits three per square meter, while Beijing allows only two. But hey, stink assessors probably get paid better than many new college grads in the U.S.! We can't imagine the job leaves them flush with cash, but it does give them a sense of duty. [Source]
