Chinese city brings in spring by boiling eggs in boys' pee

Spring is in the air, which means so is the potent smell of urine in Dongyang. As soon as the flowers start to bloom, food vendors in the Chinese city start collecting buckets of pee from school toilets so they can boil up pots of "virgin boy eggs." Residents say the delicacy provides a stream of health benefits, including better blood circulation, more energy and heatstroke prevention. Purists insist the urine should be from boys under the age of 10. The tradition leaves many Westerners squeamish. @zgoelman shudders, "I don't remember this from the 'It's a small world' ride." Maybe the urine-drinking gal from 'My Strange Addiction' is onto something after all.
