Chip Kelly calls reverse, leaves Oregon for Eagles coaching job
1/16/2013Chip Kelly of the Oregon Ducks was thought to be done flirting with the NFL. But now the Philadelphia Eagles have hired him to resurrect the franchise after firing Andy Reid, not two weeks after Kelly said he was staying at Oregon. The speculation turns to whether Kelly can revive Michael Vick's career and if Oregon's stunned recruits think the University of Nike is still an attractive destination without him at the controls. "Chip Kelly left?!?!" tweeted high-profile offensive tackle Nico Falah, who pulled back his USC commitment to consider the Ducks. "He was at my house 2 days ago." [Source]
