Chocolate éclair hot dog makes fans of gluttony rejoice
9/1/2012Move over, Krispy Kreme hamburger -- there's a new artery-clogging, sweet and savory monstrosity on the block. Meet the chocolate éclair hot dog, an invention of Maple Lodge Farms in Canada. The dessert dog was first unveiled at the Canada National Exhibition, where, it should be noted, deep fried butter was first unleashed on an unsuspecting world. We don't see the chocolate éclair ever replacing standard hot dog buns, or whipped cream and sprinkles giving mustard and relish a run for their money, but we'd be lying if we said we weren't curious to give this sweet meat a try.
