Chris Brown albums get 'This Man Beats Women' warning labels
9/15/2012It’s easy to forget, but when not throwing chairs through windows, fighting with other pop stars or getting incredibly misguided neck tattoos, Chris Brown makes music. His latest album, "Fortune," has gotten mixed reviews, but that’s not why one chain is recommending you not buy it. At HMV record stores in London, customers have reported the CDs come with a stern warning affixed: “THIS MAN BEATS WOMEN.” It isn’t clear how the warning stickers made their way onto the albums, but, perhaps unsurprisingly, advocates against domestic violence are suspected. "Fortune" hit No. 1 on both the U.K. and U.S. charts when it was released in June. [Source]
