NJ guv Chris Christie says he could pull his weight in White House

12/13/2012

Chris Christie might be heavy, but he says he can still be your president. The New Jersey governor insists that just because he is "more than a little" overweight, it doesn't mean he can't become the next commander in chief. In a conversation with Barbara Walters Wednesday night for her "10 Most Fascinating People" special, the potential 2016 candidate responded to the suggestion that he's too fat for the White House, saying, "That's ridiculous. I don't know what the basis for that is." Christie, who has revealed in the past he has a personal trainer, also pointed to his work after Hurricane Sandy as proof that he can handle long, arduous days working for the people. [Source]
