49er who made anti-gay comments to get offseason sensitivity training
2/3/2013If San Francisco wins the Super Bowl, Chris Culliver won't be going to Disneyland — at least not yet. He has to make a stop at sensitivity training first. After his comments that gays have no place on the 49ers made national news, Culliver agreed to learn more about the LGBT community by spending time with the Trevor Project in the weeks following the big game. Culliver's publicist hasn't said what the cornerback will be doing with the Trevor Project, a crisis intervention and suicide prevention group for LGBT youth. But perhaps he will graduate with a better understanding of LGBT culture and his GED (Gay Education Diploma). And maybe, after he's learned how to be nice to everyone, he can go to Disneyland.
