SF 49ers player says gays have no place on his team

1/31/2013

With the San Francisco 49ers headed to the Super Bowl, we're sure the team would like people to focus on their playing. But then cornerback Chris Culliver had to go an open his mouth. While speaking with shock jock Artie Lange, Culliver said that gay players would not be welcome on the 49ers team. "I don't do the gay guys man," Culliver said, adding, "No, we don't got no gay people on the team, they gotta get up out of here if they do." When Lange asked if gay players should keep their sexuality to themselves during their careers, Culliver replied, "Yeah, come out 10 years later after that." Wonder how his team's progressive home city is going to take these wonderfully offensive words. [Source]
