Christians may be on verge of extinction in Middle East, study says

As many Christians in the U.S. sit down to a warm Christmas meal, a study is claiming their counterparts in the Middle East may be on the verge of going extinct. The controversial report, conducted by right-leaning think tank Civitas, says between one-half and two-thirds of Christians in the Middle East have left the region or been killed in the past century. "There is now a serious risk that Christianity will disappear from its biblical heartlands," it says.
