'Paperman' producer kicked out of Oscars for throwing paper planes

The Academy Awards are big fans of "Paperman" the animated film which received the Oscar for Best Animated Short and which includes paper airplanes as a major plot point. They're not such big fans of paper planes made of actual paper. Kristina Reed, producer of "Paperman," celebrated the short's Academy Award win in the most appropriate way: by tossing paper planes from her seat in the Dolby Theater mezzanine. But security guards didn't appreciate the tribute, and swiftly removed her from the auditorium. Luckily, she was returned to her seat five or 10 minutes later following "a short protest" — in which we assume she pointed out that her film had just won an effing Oscar and she can do whatever she likes.
