Real-life Grinch steals presents from children in intensive care unit

It seems like the Grinch took a detour to London before making his annual trip to Whoville. The staff at the Great Ormond Street children’s hospital was shocked to discover that someone stole 20 Christmas gifts that were meant for its tiny intensive-care patients. "To steal presents … for children too sick to be at home with their families at Christmas is beyond belief," Inspector Neal Anderson said. But, in a wonderful display of Christmas spirit, a "long-term supporter" of the hospital replaced all those DVD players and Nintendo DS game consoles.
