Celebrate the holidays with this rad 'Jingle Bells' banjo showdown

Warning: This is what can happen when you innocently enter the neighborhood Christmas light contest. After all, that's all the Brown family had meant to do five years ago when they erected a modest light set with red and green window trim. But when their ornamentation won second place, a tiny yuletide fire was lit. The next year, the Christmas-lovin' fam in Stafford, Va., ordered a couple of 16-channel boxes and took a stab at an animated show, making their candy canes dance. Soon came FM transmitters, nails, LOR boxes, LEDs, you name it — and today, the show is a statewide attraction. So no one tell them about the holiday hors d'oeuvres contest.
