Capitol's Xmas tree arrives, igniting Internet with Christmas buzz
11/27/2012Get yer eggnog ready and your caroling cords warmed up. The Christmas tree has arrived at the U.S. Capitol and we're pretty sure that can only mean one thing: The holidays are officially here. Workers installed the tall Englemann spruce Monday morning after its month-long journey from Colorado, where the massive green beast was chopped down from the White River National Forest. Photos of the holiday tree, which will be lit in a ceremony Dec. 4 by House Speaker John Boehner, got the Internet buzzing with excited tweets and pre-Xmas jubilation. Nobody remind them the holiday music starts now too. [Source]
