Capitol's Xmas tree arrives, igniting Internet with Christmas buzz

Get yer eggnog ready and your caroling cords warmed up. The Christmas tree has arrived at the U.S. Capitol and we're pretty sure that can only mean one thing: The holidays are officially here. Workers installed the tall Englemann spruce Monday morning after its month-long journey from Colorado, where the massive green beast was chopped down from the White River National Forest. Photos of the holiday tree, which will be lit in a ceremony Dec. 4 by House Speaker John Boehner, got the Internet buzzing with excited tweets and pre-Xmas jubilation.
