Controversy surrounds fire that likely killed Christopher Dorner

Tuesday afternoon, ex-LAPD officer-turned-alleged-killer Christopher Dorner was believed dead after a standoff with police officers. Dorner barricaded himself inside a remote California cabin, which later burned to the ground. Now there is speculation that the fire was started by police officers, based on a recording of what sounds like a police scanner, in which officers appear to shout, "We're going to burn him out" and "Burn this motherf*cker." On the recording, one officer seems to say, "We're gonna go forward with the plan, with the burner … like we talked about." A "burner" is reportedly police slang for a tear gas canister. The charred remains found in the cabin have not yet been definitively identified as Dorner's. [Source]
