LAPD says no body yet recovered in Dorner siege
2/13/2013The Los Angeles Police Department held a late-night news conference and announced that, contrary to earlier reports citing law enforcement sources, no body has yet been recovered from a burned-out cabin in the San Bernardino Mountains where Christopher Dorner was believed to have died. Police Commander Andrew Smith said the cabin is still too hot to enter, and that even if there is a burned body in there, properly identifying it could take weeks. He added that the LAPD will remain on tactical alert. "We will continue as though he is still out there," he said. [Source]
