Blogger gets back at paper that published local gun-owners' addresses
12/28/2012The editors at the Journal News in New York state must have known there would be some negative response when they published the names and addresses of local legal gun owners — but they probably didn't think it would go this far. Blogger Christopher Fountain has retaliated by publishing the names, home addresses, phone numbers, family photos and Facebook page URLs for some of the paper's staffers, including editor CynDee Royle. He now says, though, that he's ending his effort: "I really don’t want to be the Charlton Heston of gun bloggers," he wrote, before announcing that he's returning to blogging about real estate.
