Alleged burglar freaks out and dials 911 when homeowner pulls a gun
12/6/2012The burglary rule book is pretty straightforward: It's the wronged homeowner who gets to call the cops. And James Gerow did after waking up to find a man in his Springtown, Texas, home, ordering his wife to dial 911 after first tracking the robber to his truck. But Christopher Lance Moore, the alleged burglar, also called police to report that "I'm out in the country somewhere and some guy's got a gun on me." Moore had told Gerow he was just "unlucky" in picking his house to break into, but there's more than bad luck involved in torpedoing this guy's criminal career. [Source]
